In a struggle between 10 mortal races for land, resources, power, defense, glory, pride, honor and more, 5 have chosen to band together to form the Alliance. Generally toted as the side of good, the Alliance is made up of the Draenei, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, and Night Elves, the Draenei being a very recent addition. However, not every member of these races aligns themselves under the Alliance banner, there are many that take a neutral stand in the war, such as the Cenarion Circle, and still others that will kill their own race and its allies on sight, such as the Bloodsail Buccaneers (a group of human pirates).
